About Patrick

Bio

Born and raised in Wyoming, Patrick Cosner received his education in Montana and Colorado. He has spent the majority of his life along the Rocky Mountains living in Riverton and Sheridan, Wyoming before moving to Bozeman, Montana, Denver and Evergreen, Colorado. His work exhibits his appreciation for nature and people found along the Rocky Mountain range. Patrick enjoys expressing the unique beauty, seclusion, and influence the Rocky Mountains and its inhabitants have upon one another.

Before moving back to his home state and becoming a Wyoming based artist in 2015, Patrick’s work was exhibited in many shows and locations in Colorado including Raw Nerve, Metamorphose and Infinite Hustle at Denver’s Center for Visual Art, Antecedent at the Denver Public Library, Metamorphosis at the Infinite Monkey Theorem Urban Winery, and a Skeletal Study at the Museum of the Rockies in Montana. His work has also been published in Metrosphere Art and Literary Magazine five times. Patrick has a permanent rotation of work at White Dog Brewing Company in Bozeman, Montana.

While working towards his degree, Patrick held many different positions in the art industry ranging from teaching at an art gallery to being a gallery assistant, working at an art supply store learning to professionally frame art while helping customers find supplies, and creating art of his own. After obtaining his Bachelor of Fine Art degree and his K-12 Art Education License in Colorado and Wyoming, Patrick moved back to Wyoming to teach, be near family, create art, and continue to grow from its tranquility and beauty.
